The two small eyes near the bottom of the tracks must see each other; if one is knocked out of line, dirty, or in direct low sun, the opener reverses the door as a safety measure. If the sensors are fine, the close force or down limit is set wrong, or something on the track is making the door bind. Aligning sensors and resetting the limits is a short, low-cost visit.
